About the Role
Meagan Bebenek Foundation a registered Canadian charity focused on creating a world where no children suffer from brain tumours. We are seeking a Fundraising Coach in a volunteer capacity to work alongside our Director of Operations and Business Development Team to support and encourage family and corporate team fundraising efforts.
The successful candidate will be a results oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to build relationships. They will have with a proven ability to encourage and motivate a team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales professional or an experienced fundraiser.
Requirements
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Support and motivate team captains and individual fundraisers encouraging goal setting and sharing tips for success
Help grow team participation at the annual HUG event by encouraging new corporate team registrations
Provide input into the development of new fundraising collateral
Participate in the semi-annual Family Council sessions sharing updates on fundraising needs, results, opportunities and strategies
Attend and actively participate in Partnership Team meetings (monthly) sharing fundraising ideas and providing input into outreach strategy
Time Commitment:
5 to 8 hours / month with peak activity from February to June
