About the Role

Meagan Bebenek Foundation a registered Canadian charity focused on creating a world where no children suffer from brain tumours. We are seeking an experienced Blogger in a volunteer capacity to work alongside our Communications Team Lead to develop compelling content to create awareness about the mission, vision and impact of Meagan Bebenek Foundation.

The successful candidate will be a creative and self-motivate individual with experience developing external facing content. They will be an experienced storyteller with a proven ability to engage readers and evoke action.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to apply the concepts acquired in the classroom and gain invaluable working experience.

Requirements

Tasks & Responsibilities: 

  • Work in partnership with the Communications Team Lead to develop a content plan that aligns with the overall communication strategy

  • Develop and maintain a voice for the organization that aligns with all regulations, policies and brand guidelines

  • Create regular content that appeals to MBF stakeholders and community members

  • Maintain audience engagement by providing helpful information and responding to comments and questions 

  • Build relationships with other bloggers and industry experts to expand the reach 


 

Time Commitment:

  • 5 to 8 hours / month
