About the Role

Meagan Bebenek Foundation a registered Canadian charity focused on creating a world where no children suffer from brain tumours. We are seeking a Digital Advertising Specialist in a volunteer capacity to work alongside our Communications Team Lead to maximize advertising grants to create awareness about the mission, vision and impact of Meagan Bebenek Foundation.

The successful candidate will be an analytical and creative thinker with the ability to use data to drive decision making to optimize campaign spending. They will have worked with Google and Microsoft Ads and have experience identifying and engaging target audiences.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to apply the concepts acquired in the classroom and gain invaluable working experience.

Requirements

Tasks & Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with the Communications Team Lead to develop an advertising plan that aligns with the overall communication strategy

  • Develop key metric reporting that will be used to make data driven decisions on spending to maximize ROI

  • Manage ad spending against budget

  • Maintain a voice for the organization that aligns with all regulations, policies and brand guidelines

  • Work in partnership with Communications Coordinator to maximize social media campaign effectiveness

  • Create regular content that appeals to MBF stakeholders and community members

  • Actively participate in Communications Team Meetings (monthly)


 

Time Commitment:

  • 8 to 10 hours / month
